In the heart of Hurdon, New Plymouth, this purpose-built space is where the focus is on you. Where you can be open, vulnerable and feel safe as you explore your own sense of beauty. Where you'll feel cocooned in a sense of wellness, luxury and beauty!

Considered in its design, and imbibed with the energy of positive affirmations in its foundations, your physical journey here is experienced in the shape of an infinity sign, a reflection of the infinite amount of strength, love and resilience in each of us.

A lot of care and energy has gone into creating a space that is not only functional in design, but that truly feels welcoming and nurturing, whatever your reason for being here.

Sustainability

The Cocoon is almost zero waste. The only single-use items are tissues & gloves for extractions, and paper cotton buds for makeup, used rarely. The space is solar powered. Headbands and facial towels are washable and reused. All linen not rented is organic cotton and OEKO-TEX certified, handmade ethically through woman-owned businesses in New Zealand or France. 90% of everything used in the Cocoon is sourced from Australia or New Zealand, and second-hand is always the first option considered.

Since 2022, the business has funded 37 native trees through Trees That Count, with 8.2 tCO₂e expected to be removed over 50 years. It's a number that keeps growing.

By appointments only on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 10:30 am – 18:30 pm.

Park there

Parking is available in front of the house.

Accessibility

To my deepest regrets, I have to work with how the house was built. The driveway is very steep and the toilet room isn't big enough for a wheelchair, but there is a grab-bar being installed.

Although steep, the driveway can be used as a ramp and all the services take place on the ground floor.

There is space in the main treatment room for a wheelchair to manoeuvre.
